With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ryan Joseph Smith of Marion, Iowa, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Rose Marie Macfarlane, Fred Dickson, Yvonne and Paul Smith; his aunt Mary Bisland; his cousin Todd Weaver; and his close friend Tony Willett.
He is survived by : his parents, Keith Smith of Marion and Shawna Smith of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Micheal Smith (Darlene) of Marion, Andrew Dickson (Katie) of Dixon, Ill. and Lyndsay Franks of Cedar Rapids; his nieces and nephews, Magik Carlton, Story Linvell, Willow Smith, Leila Dickson, Legend Franks, Drew Dickson and Wesley Smith; and his cousins, Kendra Coleman, Michael Dickson and Jeffrey Dickson. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
