She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Jay" Olinger and Mildred Olinger (McCreary); her husband Charles Beaner; her siblings, Theodore, Richard Olinger and Evelyn Olinger; and her granddaughter Amanda Harris.
She is survived by: her children, David Beaner (Madilyn) of Marion and Nancy Harris (Mike); her granddaughter Kelli Harris; her siblings, Dwight Olinger (Carol) and Janeece Lasley (David); and her sisters-in-law, Doris and Dianne Olinger. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Virginia's memory may be made to either Camp Courageous at 12007 190th Street in Monticello, Iowa, 52310, or to a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
