We bid farewell to Wayne Hancox of Marion, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Wayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hancox and Kathleen Hancox; and his wife R. L. Janice Brown. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Hancox (Lindy) of Marion and Greg Hancox (Sarah) of Solon; his grandchildren, Ryleigh (Creed), Payton (Grant), Jacey (Michael), Tyler, Sawyer, MaKynlie, Emily and Alyssa; and his siblings, Allan Hancox (Linda) of Atkins and Paula Poli (Jim) of Clive. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home-Corydon (303 E Jefferson St, Corydon, IA 50060). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
