He was predeceased by: his father Ross Nash; and his son Ryan. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Nash (Dinkey) of Elkhorn; his wife Linda Nash of Walnut; his son Kasey (Carrie Nash) of Papillion; his grandchildren, Collin, Cade, Carter and Kylie Nash; and his sister Sharon Elske of Elkhorn.

The family has expressed that memorials be directed to the following organizations: Walnut Fire & Rescue and the Walnut Community Center Foundation.
