She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry (Vera Gallentine) and Melbourne; her husband William Gilgen; and her siblings, Garnet, Maynard, Dale and Vern. She is also survived by her sons as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
