With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claudine Hofert of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Lowry City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Terry and Leona Smith (Doyle); her grandchildren, Dustin Charles Hofert, Troy Brawner, Melissa Cowan and Shawna Hofert; her great grandchild Shelby; and her siblings, Pauline, Juanita, Virginia, Mary, Delbert and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Deana Linhart, Shirley Brawner, Dale Hofert (Marilyn), Mike Hofert (Debbie), Ed Hofert (Betsy Mills) and Kim Cowan (Randy Daniel); and her grandchildren, Kay, Jeffery (Jennifer), Xavier, Dylan (Rachel), Joshua (Tracy), Brandi, Cathy, Michael (Sheena), Nathan, Wesley, Shaun, Jessica, Charlie (Malissa) and Libby. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; alongside numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Claudine's name may be directed to her family for a later designation.
