He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Thomas and Gretta Thomas (Neal); his sister Julie; his granddaughters, Mandee and Ava; and his nephew Brian Thomas.
He is survived by: his sons, Craig Thomas II (Suzanne) of Fayette, Uriah Thomas (Cori) of Brandon and Joshua Thomas (Andrea) of Independence; his grandchildren, Mercedes, Jacklynn, Danielle, Hayleigh, Hunter, Annika, Kaylin, Ronnie, William, Keyra, Addison, Alivia, Abigayle, Abel and Gracelyn; his great grandchildren, Boston, Lylah, Lukas, Adalynn, Raelynn and Anderson; and his siblings, Tracy Thomas (Christine), David Thomas (Tammy) and Lori Brimeyer (Jeff).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Day Room at the Iowa Veterans Home (1301 Summit St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
