He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Couser and Helen Couser (Lightfoot); his sister Myrna Reed; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Reed and Bud Letcher; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Maxine Beasley; and his niece Shelley Gaunt.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Beasley; his children, Jeff Couser (Barbara) of Lansing, Jill Christensen (Chris) of Union and Jen Posusta (Matt) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Alexis Tobias (Robby), Travis Couser, Amanda Boss (Andrew), Sabrina Burt (Logan), Nathan Couser, Madisyn Posusta, Morgan Posusta and Myla Posusta; his sister Ann Letcher of Spencer; and his parents-in-law, Pam Kutzner (Gary) and Rick (Sherry).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to the family for designation at a later time.
