He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Ewalt and Anna Ewalt (Hill); his sister Garnet Morris (Ewalt); his brother-in-law Larry Morris (Jim Booth); his great grandchild Dominick Meyer; his nephews, Rick Morris and Michael Booth; and his mother-in-law Geneva Catron.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Booth of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Randy R. Ewalt (Melanie), Tim D. Ewalt (Terri), Deb Walters and Brian Ewalt; his niece Tracy Ferch (Randy); his nephew Gregg Morris (Mary); his sister-in-law Debra Brown-Booth; and his daughter-in-law Elke Ewalt. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great‑grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
