He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey McNary and Margaret McNary (Heck); his wife Helen Gerber; and his brother Daniel McNary. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Schmidt (Dennise) of Le Grand, Kerrie Taul (Britt) of Montour and Christen Schmidt (Terry Bickel) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Samantha, Christopher, Alexis Schmidt, Brenden, Trevor Taul, Leslie, Ethan and Ellie Schmidt; his sisters, Mary Erlandson (Norman) of Florence, TX and Paula McKenzie (Dennis) of Franklin, TN; and his sister-in-law Janice McNary of Urbandale. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
