It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Duwayne Ross Sr. of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Ringsted, Iowa, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde A. Ross and Clara K. Ross (Jensen); his wife Marj; and his daughter Cindy Prusha. He is survived by: his children, Lyn Pickett (Phil) of Marshalltown, Don Ross Jr. of Grinnell and Pam Brown (Mel) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, PJ Pickett (Shannon) of Melbourne, Greg Pickett of Baxter, Cody Pickett (Keisha Henry) of Carlisle, Angela Manship (Wyatt) of Marshalltown and Missy Rettig (Robby) of Marshalltown; his great grandchildren, ShayeLyn Pickett (Ben White) of Melbourne, Xander Pickett of Melbourne, Madison Pickett of Melbourne, Lilyan Pickett, James Pickett of Baxter, Maleah Pickett of Grinnell, Treyce Henry, Kashtyn Henry of Carlisle, Camille Pickett of Wisconsin, Kohl Manship, Paige Manship, Ryker Rettig and Stella Rettig of Marshalltown; his great great grandchildren, Adam White of Melbourne and Phillip King-Pickett of Melbourne; and his sisters, Mary Butler (Dick Chance) of Grimes and Janet Vry (John) of Liscomb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
