He is survived by: his children, Micheal Douglas (Brandi) of Marshalltown and Michelle Schmidt (Jay) of Tama; his grandchildren, MacKenze (Tim), Kyler, Logan, Rilea, Jayda, Aliya, Amiya, Tucker, Emytt, Breckyn and Madison; his stepmother Janet Smith; and his siblings, Tammie French, Greg DeFrance and Jeanette Smith.
