It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma J. Smith of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on April 30, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Duncan and Sophia Duncan (Hursey); her husband Harold Smith; her daughter Pamela Guthridge; her siblings, Howard Duncan, Evan Duncan, Rollie Douglas, Maxine Davis and Deloris Walter; and her half-sister Alice Penelton.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Smith (Jan) of Marshalltown, IA, Randy Smith (Marcia Winningham) of Kellogg, IA, Connie Bailey of Phoenix, AZ and Jackie Smith of Phoenix, AZ; and her brother Gerald Duncan of Grinnell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
