As we bid Floyd farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Floyd is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Pratt and Virginia Pratt (Veatch); his grandson Jacob; and his pets, Vrienden and Pippi.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Hoy; his sons, Mark (Bonnie) of Anthem, AZ, John (Heather) of Lawton, OK and Stewart (Shayra) of Lake Oswego, OR; and his sister Lorene Massa (John) of Kansas City, MO.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (405 W Main St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
