Garland Schossow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garland Schossow of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garland Schossow to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Schossow and Pearl Schossow (Nyreen); and his siblings, Doyle Schossow (Eileen) and Carlene Diemer (Fritz). He is survived by: his wife Julie Allen; his children, Kate Schossow of Marshalltown, Jase Schossow (Abby) of California and Drew Schossow (Paige) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Brasch, Rayleigh and Thea; and his nephews, Shelly Nadler (Fred), Shawn Schossow (Lisa) and Shane Schossow (Marsha).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Mitchell Family Funeral Home - Marshalltown (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Lions Club or the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown.
