He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley Thompson; his daughters, Marlys Moore (Kendall) of Marshalltown and Patricia Richards (Phil) of Mundelein, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Moore LeGrand (Lindsay Walters), Todd Moore of Gladbrook, Alison Richards (John Roudabush) of Ankeny, Harrison Richards (Kate) of Lake Elmo, MN and Amy Richards of Mundelein; his brother-in-law Jim Henkemeyer; his siblings, Roger Arends (Phyllis), Elayne Gunderson (Norman) and Audrey Stubbe (Wayne); and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Henkemeyer, Marian Handeland and Sandy Nagel (David). He was also cherished by many nieces nephews and friends.
