He is survived by: his wife Marcia Karen Megrath; his son Timothy; his brothers, Russ, Sherman, Milford and Wayne; his children, Denise Hanke (Rick) of Marshalltown and Jack Walker Jr. (Kay) of Sheldon, IA; his grandchildren, Tyler Walker (Gerogia) of Sheldon, Morgan Walker of Ankeny, Trent Hanke (Nicole) of Haverhill and Colton Hanke (Hailee) of Marshalltown; his great grandchildren, Quinn and Jack Walker; and his close friends, Muriel Jansen and Jolene McIlrath.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Iowa River Hospice or Marshalltown Senior Citizens Center.
