James Adair Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Adair (Marshalltown, Iowa), who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Max Adair and Leone Adair (Petersen); his parents-in-law, Phil and Evelyn Roy; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Yocum.
He is survived by : his wife Connie Roy; his daughters, Michelle Mast (Mark), Allison Byrd (Lee) and Nikki Adair (Donny Schmidt); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Nicholas, Alexi, Sydney Mast, Ryan, Emily, Mallory Byrd, Everleigh and Beckett Adair-Schmidt; his children, Asa of Sweden, Brit of Denmark and Aaron Perry; and his sister Virginia Moore. He is also survived by siblings and their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. A prayer will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Memorials may be directed to the Philip & Evelyn Roy Memorial Scholarship at Marshalltown Community College or to the family.
