With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry L Coughlin of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Fran" Coughlin of Arnold's Motor Supply and Mildred "Nook" Coughlin (Culbertson); and his son-in-law Gary Blubaugh. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Coughlin (Hoop); his children, Lisa Marks (Kevin), Patrick Coughlin (Gabrielle) and Debra Coughlin (Mike Byerly); his grandchildren, Heather Hupfeld, Natalie Fosdick, Chelbi Coughlin, Tomi DeGrado, Carol Ann Coughlin and Chelsea "Sal" Swanson; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Brodie, Allena, Olin, Graycen, Hudzen, Hazel and LJ.
He continued to bowl regularly all the way up until Alzheimer's robbed him of the ability to continue one of the things he loved to do the most.
