It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Alice Hale (Marshalltown, Iowa), who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joan Alice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan Alice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
