We bid farewell to Joe Overstake of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2025 at the age of 85. Joe touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Overstake and Maude Overstake (Parsons); his daughter Christene Overstake; and his siblings, Jack, Darrell, Doyle, Betty Nicholson and Shirley Dunham.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Overstake (Halverson); his sons, Ricky Overstake (Deborah), David Overstake (Tamara), Stan Overstake (Elizabeth) and Jerry Overstake (Lynn); his grandchildren, Deidra LeClaire (Jim), Dawn Logsdon (Bill), Diana Wilson (Mark), Denise Overstake and Dana Larson; his grandson-in-law James Larson; and his grandchildren, Joshua Overstake (Danielle), Hannah Martinez (Gus), Connor Overstake (Katie), Ashley Bringham, Jessie Midyett, Jennie Midyett and Joey Midyett. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
