He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hitchings and Mildred Hitchings (Chinn); and his wife Mary Stanley. He is survived by: his daughters, Leesa Terrillion (Kurt) of Altoona, Rita Barnes (Troy) of Conrad and Valerie Lucking (Anthony) of South Jordan, Utah; his grandchildren, Kayla, Stephanie, Jared and Travis; his great grandchildren, Lydia, Presley, Brinlyn, Hayes and Jett; and his sisters, Judy Thorson (Arlan) of Ankeny and Jane Smith (Alvie) of Marshalltown.
In lieu of flowers, Johnnie's family has requested memorial contributions to be directed to the family for a later designation.
