She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Earl and Darlene Alma Gooding (Callison) of Marshalltown; her children, Kevin Gummert of Blue Springs, MO and Lauren Miller (Lance) of Gilman; her grandchildren, Dylan Miller (Presley) of Ames and Devon Miller (Thea Beard); her great grandchild Brooks of Colo; her grandchild Ashlyn Miller; her great grandchild Barrett of Gilman; her grandchildren, Addison Miller (Andrew Grandstaff) of Gilman, Krysta and Kaedyn Miller of Gilman; and her siblings, Jeff Gooding (Debbie) of Boulder, CO, Lisa Shavnore (David) of St. Joseph, MO and Tim Gooding (Joyce) of Kansas City, MO.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ferguson Bible Church (395 2nd St, Ferguson, IA 50078).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a cause close to her heart- Treasured by God Ministry or Treasure Chest Food Pantry, both in Gilman.
