He was predeceased by: his parents, William Metge and Leora Metge (Gerke). He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Jana L. Metge of Minneapolis and Todd (Lila) of Marshalltown; his granddaughters, Ashley Van Rees (Chad) of Cedar Falls, IA and Shannon Metge of Denver, CO; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Oaklyn and Aspen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church or Iowa River Hospice.
