She is survived by: her husband Fernando Verdinez; her children, Ashley Esperanza Verdinez-Ramirez (Rogelio) of Marshalltown and Fernando Mario Verdinez of Marshalltown; her grandson Julian Emmanuel Ramirez; and her stepsiblings, Grace Allen and Ray Urbina.
