He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wendell "Keith" Springer and Alta "Loreene" Springer (Sweringen); his children, Loreene "Lori" Stackhouse (Dan) of Park View, IA and Jeffrey Springer of Ottawa; his daughter-in-law Christine Springer of Marshalltown, IA; his grandchildren, Alicia Matney (Blake) of Liscomb, IA, Sarina Flathers (Lance) of Huxley, IA, McKinly Springer of Lynnwood, WA, Thomas Stackhouse of Ames, IA and Robert Stackhouse of Coralville, IA; his great grandchildren, Parker, Paige, Porter Matney and Taylor Flathers; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Kroener, Rose Tough, Ruth Dawson and Joan Tough; his wife Janice; his son James "Jim" Springer; and his brothers, Richard and Perry Springer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
