She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Petit Sr. and Pauline "Penny" Teresa Ortner; her husband Bill; her son Michael Blink; and her brothers, Jamie Paul Petit and John Joseph Petit Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Jodi Fricke (Blink) of Marshalltown, IA and Jill Blink of Colo, IA; her grandchildren, Jesse Corns, Jonathan Schroyer, Carson Blink, Garrett Blink and Piper Blink; her stepfather Daniel Flanagan; and her siblings, Patrick Petit, Debra Marshall, Richard Petit and William Petit. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
