He is survived by: his children, Judy Weller (Jerry) of Ottumwa, Richard Dittmer (Sue) of Kellogg, Kathleen Goldsberry of Texas, Dennis Dittmer (Lynn) of Newton and Marvin Dittmer of Newton; his grandchildren, Michele Heisdorffer (Rex), Michael Weller (Danielle), Ami Dittmer, Keri Dittmer (Andy Swanson), Jennifer Scheer (Cory), Jeremiah Goldsberry, Kayla Samo (Cody Werner), Emily, Amy Rethmeier, Jeff Bylo (Heather), Candace Bylo (Josh) and Rolly Dittmer (Adele); his great grandchildren, McKenna (Garrett), Logan (Sierra), Landon H., Taylan W., Dallas (Paige), Jordan, Zachary, Kyle (Ally), Summer, Landon G., Spencer, Lily, Mattie, Kinsley, Marianna, Caitlin (Nathan), Tristan (Mariah), Ethan, Carissa, Kaylee, Cameron, Jeffrey, Raeger, Kayla (Bryan) and Geoffery; his siblings-in-law, Harry Jensen and Joyce Dittmer; Janet Breed (Randy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Henry Catholic Church (107 S 1st St, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (2901 S 12th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208).
