She was predeceased by : her husband Andy Andrews; her son Scott Andrews; and her mother Margaret Plate (Dwight). She is survived by : her daughters, Sue Lillibridge (Paul) of Texas, Sally Jenkins (John) of Illinois and Sara Edel (Ken) of North Carolina; her daughter-in-law Maria Andrews of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Megan Shelburne (Nick), Alex Lillibridge (Lindsay), Macy Davis (Ryan), Mallory Harmon (Brady), Sam Andrews, Eric Jenkins (Bri), Kyle Jenkins, Matt and Margaret Ann Edel; her sister Jo Ann Decker (Bill) of Marshalltown; her stepbrother Mark Fleming (Laurel) of Des Moines, Iowa; and her cousin Phyllis Fistler of Marshalltown. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
