He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Smith and Helen Smith (Moore); his wife Sharon Norris; and his siblings, Pamela Smith, Patricia Smith and Michael Eugene Smith.
He is survived by: his brother Mont Smith (Debra); and his cousin John Bunte. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other cousins.
