She was predeceased by : her parents, John Bascom and Elizabeth R. Miller (Shank); her husband Tom; and her siblings, John, Edward Miller and Betty Arlene Weeden.

She is survived by : her children, Steven Speas of Taos, NM, Mike Speas (Laurel) of Port Washington, WI, Katherine Speas, Sikora (Andy Sikora) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kindera Severidt of Jacksonville, FL and Mark Speas (Jodie) of Big Rapids, MI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and nine great – grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa River Hospice.
