He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merle Edward and Mary Ruby Chaplin (Dalton); his significant other Diane Kuchenreuther; his children, Michael Chaplin of Marshalltown, Stephanie Landt (Boomer) of Melbourne and Nick Chaplin of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Keely, Jacy, Macy (Nate), Natalie, Gracie, Hayden and Owen; and his siblings, Randy Chaplin (Ruthie) of French Lick, IN, Shirley Crowe of French Lick, IN, Wanita June Butts of Paoli, IN, Carl Raymond (Louise) of Paoli, IN, Charles, Troy, Howard, Jack, Harry, Nina, Joe and Larry. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Iowa River Hospice Home, 502 Plaza Heights Rd., Marshalltown.
