She is survived by: her children, Gary Gimbel of Marshalltown, Beth Miller (Donald) and Mark Gimbel (Denise) of Marshalltown; and her sister Delores Schaff of Bismarck, ND.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandsons.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Homes (405 W Main St, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Henry Catholic Church (211 W Olive St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Iowa Veteran's Home Christmas Fund or the St. Francis Catholic School.
