Patricia Ruth Brown Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ruth Brown of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Garvin Davenport and Katye Lou Davenport; and her sister-in-law Bernice Davenport. She is survived by: her children, Libby Brown (Tom Deimerly) of Marshalltown and Jason Brown (Reann) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Jackson Bowie, Kinsley Bowie and Delilah Brown; her brother F. Garvin Davenport of St. Paul; and her sibling's children, F. Garvin III, Greg and Paul Davenport.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
To pay tribute to Pat and to support her lifelong love for education, memorials can be made to the Marshalltown Community College Foundation or Hamline University.
