He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Snyder and Margaret Snyder (Baer); his wife Kay Ann Thornton; and his siblings, Lola, Melvin, Chloris Levis, Lucille Freiberg, Kathy Oetker, Virginia Hoop and Ronald.
He is survived by: his son Ron Snyder (Kim) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Jessi Baethke (Cameron) and Brandon Snyder; his siblings-in-law, Vickie Lacina (Dennis Dostal) and Bill Thornton; and his nephew William Thornton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
Memorial donations may be directed to the family for later designation.
