He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Stafford and Mary Stafford; his siblings, Bill, David and Suzanne; and his in-laws, Elmer and Betty Rivett.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Stafford; his children, Heather Myers (Jeff), Brad Stafford (Meghan) and Greg Stafford (Krista); his grandchildren, Landon, Reagan and Ellis; his child Boston; and his pet Baxter.
Phil was involved in his community, contributing to organizations such as the Marshalltown Youth Foundation, and most notably, the Marshalltown Area Soccer Club, where he served on the board and as a coach.
