She is survived by: her husband Harvey; her daughter Tammy Sonksen (Scott) of Linn Creek; her grandchildren, Shane Sonksen (Abi) of St Peters, MO and Alaina Shonkwiler (Brock); and her great grandchild Millie of Ozark, MO..

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home - Marshalltown (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Ferguson Bible Church (395 2nd St, Ferguson, IA 50078). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Timber Creek Cemetery (2700 Ridge Rd, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ferguson Bible Church (395 2nd St, Ferguson, IA 50078).
