She is survived by: her husband Gordon Louks; her daughter Tiffany Ahlbach (Marty Ahlbach); her daughter-in-law Barbara Louks-Weidner (Robin Weidner); her grandchildren, Devin Louks Briggs (Jacob Briggs), Dalton Louks and Paige Ahlbach; her brother Tom Shollenbarger (Linda Shollenbarger); and her sister-in-law Mary Shollenbarger.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery (602 Iowa Ave E, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials in Phyllis' name be directed to Iowa River Hospice or Unity Point Health Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
