She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Willson and Marcy Willson (Foran); and her in-laws, Don and Darlene Mikkelson. She is survived by: her husband Loren Mikkelson; her daughter Hannah Ramirez (Benny) of Marshalltown, Iowa; her grandchildren, Mariana Castellanos (Dylano) of San Clemente, Mando, Ray and Matthew Ramirez of Marshalltown, Iowa; and her siblings, Lori Fischer (Doug) of Carrollton, Mary Galletta (Joe) of Cheektowaga, Charlie Willson of Covelo, California., Jannell Austin (Mark) of Marshalltown and Kelli Walsh (Ryan) of Marshalltown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (611 N Center St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting memorial donations to be directed to the Iowa Donor Network in Altoona, Iowa or the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown.
