Richard S. Luse Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, Richard S. Luse (Marshalltown, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E Luse and Marjorie Luse (Ryals); and his brothers-in-law, Arthur Hill and Donnie Wenger. He is survived by: his wife Sammi Jo; his children, Cedra Baccam (David), Tony Luse and Janelle Avise (Brad); his grandchildren, DJ Baccam, Lafawn Kral (Andy), Cole Baccam (Marina Ruppel), Tori Luse, Kadin Skala (Anna Dilorio) and Bella Avise; his great grandchildren, Dezmond Baccam, Jack, Matthew and Tommy Kral; his stepgreat-granddaughter Alenzcia Baccam; and his sisters, Sandy Hill and Candy Wenger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Christian Church (3901 S Center St, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rick's name may be designated to Iowa River Hospice.
