He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Franck and Pauline Strayer Franck; his brother Kenneth Franck; and his stepsiblings, Edward, John Roberts and Marguerite Shreve.
He is survived by: his children, Kevan Franck (Mona) of Farmington, MN, Kim Luck (Lloyd) of Marshalltown, Kristin Hovey of Farmington, MN. and Susie Gleason (Dan) of Oskaloosa; his grandchildren, Heather, Jay, Jessica, Mitchell, Matthew, Missy, Lauren and Kyle; and his half-sister Barbara Porter.
