With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronnie Snyder of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Roberta Jean Snyder (Seeley); his wife Amy Matejcik of Paul's Church; his children, Robbie Snyder, Lucas Snyder and Michael Snyder (Eva Hernandez); his siblings, Gary Snyder (Stacia), Roger Snyder (Brenda) and Cindy Kinnick; his father Delbert Snyder; his father-in-law Paul Matejcik (Carol); and his brothers-in-law, Bryan Kinnick and Jeff Matejcik.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustin Catholic Church (545 42nd St, Des Moines, IA 50312). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
