He is survived by: his mother Catherine Hansen (Coghlin); his brothers, Andrew Hansen and Patrick Hansen; his pet Chance; his grandparents, Robert, Helen Hansen, Tom Jr. and Audrey Coghlin; his aunt Donna Coghlin; and his uncle Tom Coghlin III. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be directed in Ryan's name to the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown or the Marshalltown Emergency Food Box.
