It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheryl (Cooling) VanWyk (Marshalltown, Iowa), who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Cooling; the fathers of children, Paul Steuhm and Dale Freese; and her brothers, Ray and Rick Cooling.
She is survived by: her mother Ruth Cooling (Nott) of Garwin; her children, Kellie Phillips of Pella, IA, Kendra Steuhm of Seattle, WA and Colt Freese of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Harper and Quinn Phillips; and her siblings, DeeAnna Feldmann, Greg Cooling and Danny Cooling.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family for later designation to an Alzheimer's organization of their choice.
