He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen W. Linsenmeyer and Theone A Linsenmeyer (Ralston); his uncle Billy Linsenmeyer of Wheat Ridge; his in-laws, Manferd and Lorraine Svedahl; his nephew Scott Haugen; and his brother-in-law Lowell Haugen.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Sandy); his children, Heather Linsenmeyer of Council Bluffs, Jeremy Linsenmeyer (Bonnie) of Marshalltown and Kirsten Barker (Benjamin) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua Hubbard of Council Bluffs, Blake, Casey Linsenmeyer of Marshalltown, Marcus Barker of Austin Texas, Lincoln and Stella Barker of Marshalltown; his siblings, Patricia Walkup of RockIsland, IL and Terry Downey (Ardelle) of Marshalltown; and his sisters-in-law, Theone Eaton of Marshalltown and Janice Haugen of Fosston, MN..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1600 S Center St, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens (602 Iowa Ave E, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: Redeemer Lutheran Church, Iowa River Hospice, Cancer Research, or Kidney Disease Research.
