It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Logeland of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Logeland and Hazel Logeland (Nelson); and his sister-in-law Nancy Ripperger. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his sister-in-law Carolyn England (Denny) of Panora, IA; his nieces, Kathy Ford (Mike) of Clive, IA, Dawn England of Clear Lake, IA and Kate Heil (Rich) of Johnston, IA; his nephew John Darrin England (Mary) of Manchester, IA; and also, Larry Ripperger of Katy, TX, Tim Ripperger (Julie) of Katy, TX, Bryan Ripperger (Keri) of Augusta, KS and Jeff Ripperger (Tara) of Coweta, OK. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, & uncles.

“I just heard that my cousin Tommy died on May the 4th. And I want to send my condolances to Kay. The strange thing is that I wrote him a letter on his e-mail-address yesterday the 6th of June. Kay should know that many of his cousins in Norway often think and speak about Tommy. He lived far away from his fathers family, but he has always been « one of us», and We will never forget him.”
