He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Francis and Della Keller Mack; his sister Cathy; and his brother-in-law Ralph Childers. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Abby Jones (Mark Oakeshott), Ben Mack (Ann) and Alex; his grandchildren, Makena Jones, Campbell Jones, Margot Mack and George Mack; his stepgranddaughters, Frankie Oakeshott and Cassie Hudson (Tanner); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Elloise, Hamilton and Ferguson Hudson; and his sister Corry Doty (Phil).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Marshall County Conservation Board, Hope United Methodist Church, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Have fond memories of the good times when our family visited my grandparents in Marshalltown; especially when we went to the lake with Tim where I got an introduction to shooting a shotgun. My shoulder still hurts. Very fond memories of our times together. I am sorry that we lost touch when our family moved from Iowa in the early 1960's. Very sad when I heard of his passing.
