He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Love and Bertha Love (Kyne); his wife Norma Love; his son-in-law Joel Johnson; and his siblings, Harry Love, Frank Love and Vera Montoro.

He is survived by : his children, Gregory Love (Jocelyn), Patricia Johnson-Love and Ronald Love (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Emma Love, Daniel Johnson (Michelle), David Johnson (Elisabeth), Deborah Johnson, Deanna Laugerman (James), Darren Johnson (Sarah), Adam Johnson and Alexander Johnson (Hannah).

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 1211 W State St, Marshalltown, IA 50158.

Memorials may be directed to the Iowa River Hospice Home.
