It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Nieland of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Winifred Nieland to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Frank Kosel; her children, Barb Nessa (Scott), Bill Nieland (Mirsa), Tom Nieland and John Nieland (Angela Holman); her grandchildren, Jennifer Nessa Küçük (Türker), Peter Nessa (Anne Barber), Bob Nieland (Jennifer Bryan), Chris Nieland (Ashlynn) and Matt Nieland; her great grandchildren, Lidya Nessa Küçük, Jimmy Nessa, Mayra Nessa Küçük, Molly Nessa and Joe Nessa; her siblings, Robert Kosel (Betty), Gene Kosel (Linda), Pat Kosel (Ruth), Tom Kosel (Sharon), Dave Kosel (Shannon Shaughnessy) and Karen Lundgren (Tom); her sister-in-law Patty Kosel; her siblings, Eileen Kosel, Frank Kosel and Marcel Kosel; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Kosel and Mary Alice Kosel. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
They provided excellent care for her as her Lewy body disease progressed over the last 10 years and especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, when family visits were restricted for over a year.
