With sadness, we share the passing of Charles Cooper of Mason City, Iowa. Charles, born on August 27, 1953, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert "Bob" Cooper and Ruth Mead Cooper (Cook). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer "Jenny" Block; his sons, Nicholas Charles and Timothy Cooper (Rebecca); his granddaughters, Campbell and Mable Cooper; his siblings, Mike Cooper (Leslie), Catherine Murphy (Mike), Mary Harms (Don) and Lisa Reuvers (Mark); Stephanie Harmon (Keith), Amy Glassmaker (Bill) and Julie Block.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Epiphany Parish - Holy Family (722 N Adams Ave, Mason City, IA 50401). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and other customary remembrances, the family asks that donations be considered to Community Kitchen, Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank, or the NIACC Music Department, causes that were near and dear to Chuck's heart.
